	NEWS 2006 First IAESTE Introduction and Mentoring Seminar The first IAESTE Seminar for new and potential Co-operating Institutions was held in Bangkok 31 August - 3 September 2006, hosted by IAESTE Thailand in King Mongkut's Institute of Technology. 24 participants from 15 countries attended and all expressed their appreciation for the efforts made by the organisers to inform them about all aspects of our Association. Our thanks must go to Mr Peter Upton, Director of the British Council in Thailand for his Welcome Reception and to the President of King Mongkut's Institute, Professor Dr. Teeravuti Boonyasopon for opening the Seminar and for his hospitality during our stay. We greatly appreciated the preparations made by the National Secretary, IAESTE Thailand, Tongdee Cheevapruk and Sirinda Cheevapruk.
