	NEWS 2005 IAESTE Turkey's 50th celebrations IAESTE Turkey celebrated 50 years of membership in the Association in 2005 and during the weekend 14-16 October held celebrations in Istanbul to mark this very significant milestone. The General Secretary attended the events with the National Secretaries of Germany and Greece along with Academics, Employers and Students from all over Turkey. The highlight of the weekend was the presentation of the International IAESTE Award by the General Secretary on behalf of all Members to Mrs Selva Unal for her selfless commitment and dedication to the work of IAESTE Turkey for many years. Congratulations and thanks to all those who were involved on this long and rewarding journey since 1955.
