	NEWS 2005 20th Seminar on IAESTE Development, Ljubljana, Slovenia, April 21-24, 2005 SID serves as a means to bring together IAESTE member countries to discuss issues of best practices, administration, organisational advancement and development. Unlike the Annual Conference, which focuses on the exchange of internships, SID brings delegates from member countries to come together and focus on the development and improvement of IAESTE as an international organisation. This year, 73 delegates were in attendance from 25 countries worldwide including 17 National Secretaries. However, SID is not only work. Conference attendees spend time learning about the culture of their host country and get to see some sights too. On Friday evening, attendees were invited to a Slovenian castle for a Gala Dinner featuring the Deputy Mayor of Ljubljana. On Saturday, participants were treated to a tour of historical Ljubljana. The 20th SID was an overwhelming success. Participants left with a sense of satisfaction from a job well-done and a better understanding of IAESTE Slovenia and its culture. A special thank you to IAESTE Slovenia for their hard work in putting together this year’s SID and the various sponsors for providing the support necessary to host such a successful event.
