IAESTE
	NEWS 2005 57th Annual Conference The 57th Annual Conference of IAESTE was held in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia from 22-28 January 2005. 211 delegates from 69 countries attended the week long Conference which incorporated the exchange of 7000 placements from 83 Members and Co-operating Institutions. For the first time delegates from Panama and Kenya were present representing the Technological University of Panama and Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology respectively. During the Plenary Sessions the Members decided to establish a new Association IAESTE Association sans but lucratif, registered in Luxembourg. Throughout the week our hosts, IAESTE Colombia, provided opportunities for the delegates to sample the culture of the area and we thank them for organising a very busy and important event in the history of IAESTE.
