	NEWS 2004 IAESTE General Conference 2004 The IAESTE Annual Conference was held from 16-23 January in Vienna, hosted by IAESTE Austria. The Conference included the exchange between IAESTE members and Co-Operating Institutions of some 6290 work experience placements for 2004. 223 Delegates from 73 countries attended the Conference this year. Mr Jim Reid, IAESTE General Secretary from 1998-2004 completed his term of office and Mrs Pauline Ferguson from Northern Ireland was installed as the new General Secretary.
