Busan is Korea’s second largest city with close to 4 million people. It also serves as the country’s main port for international cargo, as well as passenger ferries to Japan and Jeju Island. Busan is known for its beaches, hot springs, nature reserves and events such as the city’s renowned international film festival held each fall(unfortunately we cannot join now, but we have the International Rock Festival!). The Busan fish market has a huge selection of fresh seafood in the early morning. Busan is a good destination for those seeking a more laid back atmosphere than Seoul. Located at the southern tip of the Korean peninsula, Busan’s important port gives the city an international flair, with sailors from around the world trooping through and a growing number of tourists.
Since we spent several times in Seoul for our weekend, we think it’s time to seek for other places in Korea. And Busan is the best choice for this time since we meet a good opportunity for rock and roll!
Can’t wait for the weekend!

London is the capital and economic centre of England and the UK. With over 8 million inhabitants, it is the largest city in the European Union. It has a rich history spanning 2000 years, since the time of the Roman Empire, and was the centre of the rise and eventual decline of the most extensive Empire in the history of the world. Since the breakup of the British Empire, it has seen extensive diversification, and now is home to an extensive mix of peoples, cultures and religions.
We’ve a lot to get through in three days then. During this weekend, we hope to introduce you to one of the modern world’s great cities, taking in some of the sights, culture and history, but most importantly having fun with other trainees from across the UK and Europe.
