A few useful things to consider:
Duration
- Placements can be from a minimum of 6 weeks to a maximum of 52 weeks.
Living allowance
- All IAESTE trainees must receive a living allowance or wage to cover food, accommodation and travel to and from work, with a small amount towards cultural and social activities to allow the student to benefit from living in your country.
Quality work placement
- A solid job description describing, in as much detail as possible, the work the trainee will be expected to complete, will help manage expectations on both sides.
- It is easier for all parties if a clear supervisor can be allocated for managing the student through the project, from the very beginning.
