IAESTE exchanges students who are advanced in their studies and bring a fundamental background knowledge which mostly is already enriched by other practical training in their home country.

Trainees come with good language knowledge - English is mandatory for the participation in the exchange programme which makes communication quite easy. Your Employees can also benefit as they have the chance to practice their language skills with interesting and well educated people.

You can easily establish international connections and get to know another culture, especially if your Company deals with the countries the trainees come from. IAESTE trainees will become future leaders in their fields in their own countries and then you may be able to do business with them in the years ahead.

By hosting a foreign trainee you also give the chance to a local student to go abroad to gain technical and cultural experiences. The IAESTE programme is mainly based on a one to one exchange

When you offer a placement you can decide what kind of a trainee you need including, job description, language knowledge, geographical preferences, duration of the traineeship ,salary and IAESTE will match your offer with a bright and motivated student.

IAESTE checks the incoming applications of potential trainees to give you the best possible match. After you receive the application it is up to you to decide whether you accept the trainee or not but most Employers rely on the experience IAESTE has provided through the years ad usually accept the trainee offered. However if you find the student not to be appropriate to your needs we hope that you would be willing to accept a re nomination.
