About IAESTE
Global Support Team
The Global Support Team (GST) is a team of 6 people working for IAESTE on an international level with the target to implement (under the supervision of the Board) the strategic direction given by the General Conference.
This includes carrying out day-to-day business, fostering knowledge sharing between members of the association and creating fundraising opportunities for IAESTE a.s.b.l. Besides these general tasks all team members have their own area of responsibility, where they focus on developing new concepts for the further development of our association.
Bruce Mehlmann-Wicks
Alumni Relations Manager
Bruce’s task is to keep our world-wide community of alumni in contact with our organisation, which includes the maintenance of our online Alumni network, production of our alumni magazine, FRIENDS and organising events for alumni. Contact Bruce for anything related to the Alumni Network, issues signing up or logging in, feedback on the system or anything alumni related.
Jure Safner
Key Account Manager
Jure is fostering international cooperation with globally active organisation with a similar scope as IAESTE. In addition he supports all other fundraising activities, with a special focus on managing our global partners and submitting grant applications.
Olga Legacka
Country Development Manager
Olga is responsible for development and knowledge management in our organisation. She also deals with improving performance and individual development of members by supporting customised concepts.
Suleiman Arabiat
Business Relations – Team member
Suleiman is part of the Business Relations Team with a focus on all projects related to the IAESTE 65th anniversary celebrations and submitting grant applications.
Teresa Torzicky
Business Relations Manager / Coordinator GST
Teresa is responsible for developing and coordinating global fundraising activities and for coordinating the cooperation of all team members. Her special focus is on developing partnerships with companies supporting IAESTE’s mission, fundraising related knowledge sharing between IAESTE countries and the development of funding possibilities from public funds.
Vanja Paulik
Exchange & IT Manager
Vanja is our Exchange and IT Manager. He supports the SID (Strategic IAESTE Development) group in developing Exchange related projects to ensure that the services we provide are suitable for our students and companies needs. In addition Vanja supports the IDT (Internet Development Team) in providing the necessary IT infrastructure for administration of our global student exchange programme.
