A Universidad San Francisco official responsible for IAESTE ECUADOR will send you the invitation letter so your delegation can present to the consulate in order to get a short term visa named 12-X.
Requirements

All countries that require visa should apply for temporary visitor’s visa called VISA 12-X TOURISM.
Subjects for admission:
Temporary visitors for lawful purposes: tourism, sports, health, education, science or art.
Requirements:
Written request signed by the applicant, addressed to the Ecuadorian Foreign Service Officer serving in the place of residence of the applicant or in his absence, the nearest place FSO.
- Visa Application Form with original color passport-size photographs, with white background as posted on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Integration.
- Passport valid for at least six months and its respective copy.
- Copy of round-trip ticket.
The foreigner must demonstrate sufficient funds to stay in the country.
Visa Validity:
Maximum ninety days in each period of twelve months (non-calendar year), starting once the foreigner enters Ecuador.
